The N/W corner in 1958 when it was an Imperial gas station.

Queen and Carlaw/Then and Now
940 Queen Street East in the early 1980's. A nice selection of hand painted signs.
There's a good chance that these were painted by a man named George who was also a life model at O.C.A. His work was a mainstay on Queen West throughout the 70's and 80's. Painted restaurant windows were his forte.
2010.
Richmond Street/Then and Now
The changing face of these two storefronts as documented by Patrick Cummins since 1983.
Today only the building's ghost remains on the side of the Victorian town house.

Queen East/Then and Now
Patrick Cummins' photo of Woodgreen Fish and Chips on Queen just west of Degrassi in the late 90's.
Ian's Cigar Store to the west.
McCaul Street/Then and Now
153 McCaul Street as shot by Patrick Cummins in the mid 1980's. The building appears to be collapsing under it's own weight. There's a notice in the window.
2010.

Broadview and Danforth/Then and Now
The S/E corner of Broadview and Danforth in 1912.
Again in 2010, could the old Bank be hiding underneath the Pizza Pizza? The facade is similar...

King and Parliament/Then and Now
The S?E corner of King and Parliament as painted by Gerald Lazare sometime in the 1980's I would guess when it was the Derby Tavern.

Hollywood Jobbers on Queen/Then and Now

to be found here.

Hollywood Jobbers re-located to the building on the left when the original site was demolished. They then moved up to John Street before retiring.
