This wood and insulbrick house on Huron is one of very few non brick homes remaining in the city. This Victorian house on Garden Avenue in Parkdale was torn down recently.
Walked by that place many times until a year or two ago, to pick up my kids from their school. If you walked around the back you could see how flimsy the construction was - a wood frame with board on either side, tarpaper siding on the outside and barely any insulation. It sat empty for at least a couple of years, but it was obvious that the new owner was going to do a tear-down. Didn't know it was gone already.
