By the early 1950's the popularity of superhero comics was waning only to be replaced by crime story comic books. A selection of great covers.

Crime MUST Pay the Penalty

Another fine cover from Crime Must Pat the Penalty Feb. 1955. Nice use of dramatic perspective and colour. It looks like the Holland Tunnel in New York. The green car is a 1950 Ford and the red one looks like a Chrysler or a Desoto.

Just For Fun-Crime Comics from the 50's

A great cover from Crime Must Pay the Penalty issue 27. Having worked (briefly) in the printing business and having friends that do work in the field, it's a nice bit of nostalgia.
