Chinatown Duplex

    My son Dylan just moved into a shared floor on D'Arcy Ave.

    Searching a history of a house requires some physical legwork.The first step is a visit to the basement of City Hall (new) to have a look through their collection of records including"
    Tax assessments
    City directories
    Goad's Fire Insurance Maps
    Old phone books.
    The information available on line is quite limited.
    I think I'll do a piece on this very subject.
