St. Clair and Weston/Then and Now

A promotional matchbook for the Ford Restaurant on the N/E corner of St. Clair and Weston Rd. from the 1950's. Ford Street is just across the road. Matchbook courtesy of Chuckman's.
The same, sad corner in 2010.

  1. This is at the corner of St. Clair and Old Weston Road, right across from what remains of the Heydon House Hotel building, now a fleabag. It is a sad corner. I'd love to hear just how Old Weston Road got its name, though, as Keele turns into Weston road one block and railway bridge west of this corner.
