The N/E corner of Spadina and Adelaide in 1911.

2010. The Balfour Building was built in 1930 and was named in honour of the Earl of Balfour, who, in 1917, had committed the British government to support a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

Arthur Balfour, the first Earl of Balfour.
