Looking south down Yonge from the corner of Carlton sometime in the 1950's. Kresge's on the left and Eaton's College to the right. Who's the little boy with the balloon looking at the camera.?

The N/W corner of Yonge and Hayter prior to the building of Eaton's College in 1920 or so.
A Maxwell Car dealership, my Grandfather sold Maxwell's for a time. William Long Piano's also had a branch in New York on Broome Street in Brooklyn.

The S/W corner of Yonge and College in 1919. This entire block would be demolished less that 10 years later to make room for....

Eaton's College Store 1931.

Yonge and Gerrard/Then

The west side of Yonge from Gerrard up to Hayter and Eaton's College store in 1950.
I think these were documented prior to the subway construction to monitor any damage to the the building as construction progressed. It's interesting to note that there was another Kresge's on the opposite side of the street one block north (see previous post)
